Marans are decent layers of a beautiful dark chocolate colored egg. They also have feathered legs. Marans come in a few color varieties (such as Blue Copper and Splash), the ones that we have are Black Copper.
Their really cool colored eggs make a really fun addition to any egg laying flock.
