2021 Nigerian Dwarf Goat Kidding Schedule & Nigerian Dwarf Goats for Sale
We will have Nigerian Dwarf Goats for sale each winter/spring. Please see below for our 2021 Nigerian Dwarf Goat Kidding Schedule to see what goats will be for sale. We are breeding our does starting in Oct 2020 for babies starting in February 2021. Reservations are available to purchase doe kids, buck kids and wethers. Our 2021 breeding schedule will be updated below as decisions are made.
We are already receiving requests for reservations, the kids do go very fast! Reservations are $100 non-refundable deposit to hold your choice of kid (of course, we cannot always guarantee your first pick will have what you want. If she does not, we will work to find a second choice for you). For questions or to make a reservation, send us an email.
If you are looking for a small (miniature) goat that has fantastic milking capabilities, then Nigerian Dwarf goats are the way to go! These small dairy goats are bred for high butterfat content and excellent milking capacity in comparison to their miniature size. This also means that since they are smaller in stature, they take up less space and also eat less feed all while producing high quality, yummy milk! We believe that they are the ultimate dairy goat!
To see the does pedigrees and udder pictures as well as our bucks, please visit their page. All of our goats are ADGA registered. We participate in ADGA LA (Linear appraisal) and many of our does have their milk stars. We breed for conformation and milk production.
We are located in Moneta, Va which is outside of Roanoke in SW Virginia. If you do not live in the area, we are more than happy to discuss delivery options. We regularly travel around Virginia as well as our neighboring states of North Carolina (NC), Maryland (MD), and Tennessee (TN) and would be happy to help arrange transport.
If you have an interest in purchasing any of the goats we have for sale, but are new to goats, we are more than happy to field any questions you may have. We also have an extensive amount of information over on our blog or in our eBook. We cover topics including fencing, supplies needed, milking and other goat care tips
Most kids will go to their new homes at weaning age which is 8 weeks. However, a few kids can go earlier than that as bottle babies (at our discretion and not every kid can go before weaning age).
We have a license to sell goats milk for animal consumption. Therefore, kids that go as bottle babies can also go with a supply of real goat's milk instead of being put on formula.
Please Note: We may choose to retain any kids that are born. We cannot guarantee the number or sex of kids that will be born from each doe. Reservations are first come, first serve basis. They a hold on your choice of kid (assuming the doe has what you have requested).
All kids will be disbudded (unless they are polled which means naturally hornless). All kids come with registration papers (unless they are sold as wethers).
Please note, we cannot guarantee against scurs (small re-growth of horns) especially in buck kids -- they do sometimes happen.
